Sweet Charity

Fundraising at her school for The Leukemia Society and this sweet girl wants to just go to the bank and get $300 to help them out.

C'mon, I absolutely L.O.V.E. Krav Maga and have been attending the class on a 3 day - $19.99 (with free gloves) promotional trial. 

Tonight, I made the mistake of asking how much a membership is...

$129 per month and to get started, all I have to do is pay the 1st and last month's rent plus an $80 registration fee (I saved 19.99 on the registration fee since I already paid for the trial period). 

Now I would be able to attend any class, all day long, everyday if I wanted - but I can only go on Wednesday evenings...not really a great selling point for me.

What a bargain, right?!  NOT!!!

Ever wonder why you have a hard time getting good volunteers?  It's because, one - you don't have it together enough to create an environment that supports a volunteer who has anything else of any significance going on in their lives and two - you're rude and mean and condescending...that should be sufficient reasoning. 

The catch is that we love our kids and would do anything for them.  Therefore, bring on the kleenex, the bubble bath and the Malibu!  CHEERS!
